‘The Cougar: too old to be your girlfriend, too young to be your mother’

Air New Zealand has been criticised for its latest marketing campaign documenting 35-plus women or “cougars” preying on younger men.  

Stuff.co.nz reports the ad – which will not be shown on TV – has been labelled as sexist and lame.

The ‘mockumentary’ is a part of the airline’s Grabaseat promotion, which is giving “cougars” the chance to win one of 60 tickets to the Wellington Sevens rugby tournament if they submit a photo of themselves out on the town with their cougar friends.
