Inaugural Australian flight takes off for Delta

American airline Delta Air Lines today launched its first flight from Sydney direct to Los Angeles marking the carrier’s foray into the Australian market.

Delta Flight 16 departed Sydney at 9:25am on a Boeing 777-200LR after the inaugural flight from Los Angeles arrived earlier this morning.

The airline offers daily services to Los Angeles from Sydney with opportunities to travel further on its network of six continents, including over 300 American destinations.
