The BOA Chair and Secretary’s lunch was a great opportunity to meet our peers and discuss state issues in a relaxed and informal setting.

The conference was EXCELLENT and I urge anyone who is serious about growing their business to lock it into their calender for next year.

And the GPA’s , I’m still in awe and so proud of our achievement and congratulations to all the other finalist’s and winners . The quality and quantity of guests at the GPA’s is testament to the high value and recognition placed on these industry awards.

And what about that bus trip to The Side Bar……!

I also found the Expo a golden opportunity to network with other business operators and some exciting opportunities already developing. A real bonus.

An amazing week that’s for sure.

Sam the man was a real quiet achiever who opened up a little as the night went on to become a spokesperson for the Nation, possibly even the next PM. What a classic our table nearly wet their pants.

Thanks to our enthusiastic, passionate, very good looking and tireless team who are the most committed people who all love what they do and do what they love. Unfortunately we could not bring them all to celebrate but we will have to have a succession of after parties over the next 12 months. All invited.

Thanks to all of our awesome industry travel agents and partners for promoting the best tour/ activity in N.S.W and as far as surfing goes we are staunchly committed to providing the ultimate experience and always put our clients first in our focus of delivering the ultimate experience in a fun and safe environment.

And mostly thanks to the clients we all share that take on the challenge to travel half way around the world, contribute to our economy and society in so many ways. They are truly stars in our eyes, well behaved most of the time, adventurous, fun, educated and great to be around. They are truly great people and we need to remember to always treat them with the respect and enthusiasm we showed to them on the first day we opened our doors for business. We need to always remember and encourage our staff to be ambassadors to the industry as a whole, the country we are so fortunate to live in and for Sam the very funny dude at the awards night.

All the best to everybody in this awesome industry for the approaching summer, keep your yields up, treasure every client as the first one you ever had and i hope you all have a bumper season and make some money and have fun along the way. I know for the last 12 years i have been encouraging my team and saying this is going to be the year.
