ABiC organisers launch Independent Travel Exchange

The backpacking sector is getting its own, appointment-based trade networking event with the launch of Independent Travel Exchange (ITE) in Sydney in November.

Organised by the team behind the Adventure & Backpacker Industry Conference (ABiC), attendees will be able to book meetings in advance with their preferred prospective business partners.

It will be held during Sydney Expo week on Wednesday November 4, the day before ABiC and the Golden Backpack Awards Dinner.

Organiser Denise Jinks said: “Industry leaders have been crying out for an event of this kind, where they can meet key contacts in a business setting with no distractions. Holding it the day before ABiC means they can have a series of meetings with colleagues from around Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, all in the one day.”
